What to expect at your Couples photoshoot
Couples and engagement photos tell the story behind your love — capturing the connection, quirks, and quiet moments that make your relationship uniquely yours
FAQ's
Let’s be honest — couples photoshoots can feel a bit awkward.
You're wildly in love, sure — but now you're meant to pose like you're wildly in love... with a camera two feet away? Suddenly you're both wondering, “What do we even do with our faces?” One of you’s trying not to blink, the other’s overthinking hand placement like it’s a high-stakes game of Twister. I get it. Truly.
But here’s the thing…
As someone who’s spent years behind the lens (and yes, occasionally dragged my own partner into the frame), I know how vulnerable and weird it can feel to be professionally photographed. You’re not just capturing a “look” — you’re freezing a moment in time, a season of your story. And that deserves to feel as natural and joy-filled as the love you share.
That’s where I come in.
My job isn’t just to take pretty pictures — it’s to help you both relax, laugh, connect, and actually enjoy yourselves. This isn’t about stiff poses or Insta-perfect pressure. This is about you two, exactly as you are — playful, romantic, sarcastic, giggly, awkward, utterly adorable... whatever your love language is, I’ll meet you there.
Think of this shoot less like a formal photo session and more like a fun date — with a third wheel who’s really good at finding your best angles and making you forget the camera’s even there.
So breathe. You don’t have to be models. You just have to show up, hold hands, and let yourselves be in the moment. I’ll take care of the rest.

“But we're not photogenic…”

So many of my clients say this — “I’m not photogenic,” “I hate being in front of the camera,” or the classic, “What do I even do with my face?”
And guess what? Nearly all of them walk away saying, “Wait… is that actually me? I look amazing!”
You don’t need to know how to pose, where to look, or what the heck to do with your hands. That’s my job. I’ll guide you every step of the way, in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and (dare I say it?) actually kind of fun. Like, surprisingly fun. The kind of fun where you forget you were nervous in the first place.
You might be thinking things like:
“What if I look awkward?”
“What if I feel totally out of my depth?”
“What if I laugh-snort or say something weird mid-shot?”
Honestly? It’s all welcome here.
I’ve worked with women across all walks of life — from NHS boardrooms to creative studios — and I promise you, nothing is too weird, too much, or too “not ready yet.” This isn't about being polished to perfection. It's about being you — brilliantly, boldly, and beautifully — exactly as you are, in the season you're in.
Let’s capture the essence of you, not the Pinterest-perfect version. Because your brand? It starts with your magic.

What to Wear — And What You Need

You don’t need a power suit, a whole new wardrobe, or to magically morph into someone else for your branding shoot.
Wear what makes you feel like you. That might be your favourite blazer that fits just right, a floaty dress that makes you feel like a goddess, or jeans and a tee that scream “I’m the boss, but I also do school runs.” It’s not about dressing up — it’s about showing up.
And if you’re sitting there thinking, “But what do I actually wear though?” — don’t worry, I’ve got you. I’ll send over easy, practical styling tips (with zero fashion police energy) to help you choose pieces that feel effortless, comfortable, and so you.
Because when you feel good in your clothes, it shows. And when you feel like yourself, that’s when the magic happens
